Packer Bob’s Camp

By Highside Danny

Into the woods and over the mountains

‘Cross rivers and streams

Of unseen dreams

‘Ol Boss Jack would go

Gotta string behind

Gonna make that climb

Come on ‘ol friend Tally Ho!

And off Packer Bob would go

Well we made ‘er here

And we didn’t swim

Thanks Boss Jack

Thanks again

I knew ya had it in ya

Time to unload the packs

And pitch the tents

Kitchen’s gotta be good for all them gents

Wood’s all split

Campfire’s glowin

Mules are all fed

Now I’m lookin’ at the heavens

Gaze at the stars

Make some beans and bread

Have a toast to the wilderness

Then rest my head

Thanks ‘ol friend

This is Packer  Bob’s Camp
